Ayreheart brings together traditional songs from England, Scotland, Ireland and America with original music by Ronn McFarlane and Heather Aubrey Lloyd. The program ranges from the haunting medieval Lully Lulle and Nottamun Town to the enduring Wayfaring Stranger, Twa Corbies, and John Barleycorn. The program moves through centuries of songs and stories, alongside contemporary compositions and arrangements of traditional tunes. Old meets new in a rich, varied musical landscape.
